Get To Know

Dana Miller

I’m Dana Miller, a REALTOR® with Weichert Realtors Agency One. Although I was born at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, I come from a family of Florida natives and was raised on Pine Island, where my local roots and love of community began. I serve Cape Coral, Pine Island, North Fort Myers, Fort Myers, Estero, Bonita Springs, South Naples, and Everglades City. I help clients buy and sell residential properties of all kinds, including single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes, residential resales, and new construction.

With 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, including more than 22 years in title insurance, I bring my clients far more than knowledge of homes and neighborhoods. I bring decades of experience solving the kinds of problems that can determine whether a transaction reaches the closing table.

During my time working in New York City, I served as a title clearance officer and worked closely with underwriting counsel to resolve title defects and clearance issues. New York transactions could involve multiple layers of complexity, including unreleased mortgages and liens, judgments, recording discrepancies, estate or divorce-related concerns, UCC filings, building violations, open permits, and certificate-of-occupancy issues. That experience taught me how to examine the details, identify potential obstacles, develop a plan, and keep everyone informed while working toward a solution.

Simply put: when a transaction becomes complicated, I don’t panic; I make a plan and get to work.

Today, that experience is invaluable to my Florida buyers and sellers. Whether you are purchasing your first home, relocating, building a new home, preparing for retirement, downsizing, or selling during a significant life transition, I understand that real estate is about much more than a property. It is about your family, your finances, your future, and sometimes an entirely new chapter of life.

I am also experienced in transactions that require additional care and problem-solving, including short sales, distressed properties, and sales involving death or divorce. These circumstances deserve patience, discretion, compassion, and clear communication. My goal is for every client to feel as though they have a trusted family member watching out for them, along with an experienced professional who knows how to move a transaction forward.

My connection to the military is personal. Being born on an Army base and coming from a military family gave me a deep appreciation for service, sacrifice, adaptability, and the unique transitions military households may experience. It would be an honor to help veterans, active-duty service members, and military families find their place in Southwest Florida.

My local roots run especially deep on Pine Island. Some of my favorite childhood memories include swimming at the Pine Island pool, attending dances at the Matlacha Community Center, participating in Girl Scouts, and attending Pine Island United Methodist Church. Growing up in a close-knit island community taught me what it truly means when people say, “It takes a village.” Pine Island takes care of its own, and that sense of community continues to shape how I care for my clients.

After raising my daughter, Sayde, and my son, Braden, in New York, we returned to Florida in 2024. Coming home renewed my appreciation for Southwest Florida’s warm weather, beautiful beaches, incredible shelling, local restaurants, and the seemingly endless number of places waiting to be explored.

When I’m not helping clients, you may find me training in combat sports, working on my fitness and personal growth, supporting local businesses, spending time with my children, or negotiating for space on the couch with Jake, my very loved and slightly overfed pit bull. My faith keeps me grounded and reminds me to approach every person and every situation with integrity, gratitude, and compassion.

As a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, I am committed to honesty, integrity, accessibility, and dependable service. I promise to bring clear communication, genuine care, resourcefulness, and the very best of my experience to every transaction.

If you are thinking about buying, selling, building, or relocating to Southwest Florida, I would love to hear your story and help you plan your next move. Call, text, email, schedule a consultation, or follow me on social media—and let’s find the path that feels right for you.
